Facts about Frogs




* Frogs belong to the Order Anura, the largest of the three groups of amphibians.

* Frogs don’t drink water they absorb it through their skin.

* Frog bones form a ring when the frog is hibernating, just like trees do. Scientists can use these rings to figure out the age of a frog.

* The frog's tongue grows from the front of its mouth, which makes it easier to catch flies.

* The smallest frogs in the world are less than half-an-inch long.
